Bespoke framing

Framing that starts with your piece.

Tell us what you would like to frame. We will help you explore the materials, presentation and finishing details.

Hyacinth watercolour on deckle-edged paper with a cream mount sample and a beaded gold moulding corner laid over it.

How we approach bespoke work

Every commission is guided by three things: the piece itself, how you want it presented, and what matters most to you. We take time to understand all three before suggesting a single moulding.

The artwork

Its medium, size, age and condition shape the materials we suggest and how it is mounted.

The presentation

Where it will hang, the light in the room and the look you want guide the moulding, mount and glazing.

Your requirements

Preservation, a particular finish, a matching set or a budget to work within — tell us what matters and we'll plan around it.

How it works

Four simple stages

  1. 01

    Tell us about your piece

Send a photo, the size and a few notes, or bring it into the workshop.

  2. 02

    Explore the options

We'll talk through mouldings, mounts and glazing that suit the piece and the space.

  3. 03

    Approve your quotation

You'll receive a written quotation to review before any work begins.

  4. 04

    Collect your finished frame

Collect it from the workshop, or arrange an agreed delivery where applicable.

Let's talk about your piece.

Share a few details and a photo if you have one, or bring it into the workshop. We'll help you work out what suits it.
