A gold frame for Louise Kennedy's portrait of Paddy Paws

It started with a photograph Louise Kennedy took in New York of a dog portrait in an ornate gold frame. She asked if we could create the same feeling for a portrait of her own much-loved Paddy Paws, destined for her Merrion Square boutique. We studied the original, tried gold mouldings against the artwork, and settled on this richly detailed frame from Salvadori Cornici. The portrait is framed without a mount and glazed with ArtGlass AR70, so nothing comes between the viewer and the detail.
